Once a programmer is used on a vehicle for the first time, the vehicle’s VIN is permanently written, or “burned,” into the programmer. This process is irreversible. After the VIN has been written, the programmer cannot be reset, reprogrammed for another vehicle, or resold.

For this reason, all used programmer sales are final. We are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for programmers that have already been connected to and used on a vehicle.

We strongly recommend using the programmer with genuine OEM components only.

Aftermarket components may generate fault codes, cause communication errors, fail to respond correctly to factory programming commands, or interfere with other vehicle modules. Problems caused by incompatible or aftermarket components are not considered a defect or failure of the programmer.

A return or refund will not be accepted when the programmer is functioning properly and the issue is determined to be related to aftermarket, incompatible, or non-OEM components installed on the vehicle.

Description

Add convenient power folding mirror capability to your Ram truck without a costly dealer programming visit. The DD Offroad Power Folding Mirrors Programmer enables the factory power-folding mirror function once the required mirror components and modules are installed. Programming is completed through your vehicle’s OBD-II port for a quick and simple upgrade.

Once programmed, your truck will support the power folding mirrors feature just like a factory-equipped model, including mirror folding/unfolding operations and related mirror lighting functions where applicable.

⚠️ Note: Power folding mirrors, door modules, and required switches are not included. This programmer only activates the feature after those parts are installed. You can find compatible mirror hardware and accessories here.

Installation Overview

Turn the ignition to accessory mode (engine off) and wait approximately 30 seconds
Plug the programmer into the vehicle’s OBD-II port
Wait for the indicator green light to turn on and/or horn confirmation — programming is complete
Remove the programmer, turn off the vehicle and leave the driver's door open for 1 minute, your vehicle is good to go

Important: If your truck is a 2018 or newer model, a security bypass module may be required to complete programming. Be sure to select the correct bypass option for your vehicle before checkout.

Important Information

Saved money! Saved Time!

Worked exactly as described. So easy! The dealership wanted 200$. And i would have likely blew my whole day waiting there.
Instead, i came here. Got this programmer for half the cost delivered to my door. It literally took 15 seconds to program my factory installed trailer lights. Its a shame dealers leave options turned off just so youll come to them and spend more money. Don’t pay dealership prices. Get this programmer instead!

2024 Ram 3500 Tradesman with a 5" Screen

Great product and easy to install. A few learning curves that I identified and shared with the company that pertained to my truck. Examples: required dongle location for program upgrade is located behind the gauge cluster; in order to get the HVAC to work correctly I had to purchase a separate harness, which they had, but in the directions there are two wires (not red or black) that have to be connected to the truck wiring and my wires had to be installed opposite of their directions in order for the HVAC to work properly. All of this is minor and was easily figured out, and the company annotated these so they could pass on to other customers. Highly recommend.

Nice upgrade

Installed in my 18 Raptor, as I wanted the wireless Apple CarPlay. Happy to say that works perfectly. HVAC controls are not as seamless as the factory. Button response is definitely slower. And auto climate for remote start no longer works. Just have set the temp where you want it before you hop out. But all functions do work, and my truck feels very updated. Tech support is very quick and helpful. You will really appreciate responsiveness and support. With the cost of new trucks nowadays, this will keep content for a few more years.

Best upgrade to the truck

Just worked out the bugs in my new system. My 2019 F150 is now upgraded and looks like a new truck. Joseph is amazing, patient, and unbelievably helpful. Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in a new look with plenty of additional features.

I received my new 12 inch radio for my 2023 Dodge ram. It was easy install and everything works perfect.

Easy upgrade. Plug and play

Upgraded my 2025 Ram1500 big horns 8.4 infotainment to the 14.5 system. DD Offroad was excellent, fast shipping and I had a few issues installing which Joseph was on top of until we figured it out. Love the new radio, everything works right out of the box, transfered my wifi and connected services and only need to contact Surius to transfer service tonthe new radio ID. Very easy upgrade and I love the new look.

Best upgrade for 4th gen truck!

The OEM Uconnect 5 unit works great and fit like a glove! All functions were retained. Back up camera and steering wheel controls work great! Truly plug and play.
