This was the best upgrade for the pickup. I wasn't having any trouble with the original MyFord Touch, but Sync 3 is so much better. And it looks just like a factory install—all the original buttons still work like normal! Thank you!

Customer service stood out—they were great! I had lots of questions and they had answers for all of them. I have a Platinum truck and wanted to make sure all the factory options would still work. I also wanted to keep my XM without changing the radio ID. No problem at all! I upgraded to the new integrated wireless CarPlay. Install was a breeze—took all of 20 minutes. Reached out to support again about how the OE navigation works versus CarPlay. Quick response again (less than 5 minutes) with clear answers. I love it. Works perfectly! Pretty smooth experience, and I enjoyed the pack-ins. Only issue: with the top down and in direct sunlight, some scratches are visible on the replacement unit, even though I left the screen covering on until the last minute. It's only noticeable very rarely, though. I'll see if a screen protector helps.

Components arrived carefully packaged, and everything was included as described. Followed a YouTube video for the install, which was simple. Took my time—about an hour. System booted up, did a master reset, and everything's working well.

This is a nice kit. Comes with everything. Not the cheapest kit out there, and not the most expensive, but these are quality parts. Screen and APIM are clean and nice. Easy install in my 2016 F-350—took maybe 20 minutes. GPS takes a minute to find its location, so be patient. Pro tip: the little GPS puck has a magnet in it. In my truck, anyway, there's a metal bar that runs just above the screen with nothing but plastic over it. Stick the antenna to that and it won't be flailing around in your dash. So far so good. I replaced my Sync 3 APIM with the upgraded Sync 4 8.4-inch screen because my radio was sometimes working but mostly not. Got my product from DD Offroad in a timely manner—maybe even a couple days sooner than expected. Swapped it out in about an hour. Could've been quicker, but I was poking around in the radio cavity. Everything is working as intended. Screen looks a little better than the original but not much, and it does collect more fingerprints. Overall good product, cost less than other companies I researched. No issues with DD Offroad—was kept informed through the whole process from order to delivery. And I got the Skittles that my kid ate. Thanks.

Everything arrived as expected and described. After installation, the system setup was straightforward and everything works properly. Screen is brighter and more responsive than my Sync 2 was.

Clear, informative website. Any questions I had were promptly answered via email. System was well packaged and included everything required, including a couple of trim removal tools. Installation in my 2015 Mustang took around 2 hours, and everything worked perfectly from the first power-up. Last but not least, the price was very reasonable!

The Sync 2 to Sync 3 upgrade for my 2015 F-150 was easily done with the included directions. If I can do it at age 79, I'd assume most people would find this upgrade easy. So far, so good. I installed the upgrade in my 2013 F-250 a couple weeks ago. The hardest part was removing the plug on the old unit. The only issue I have is the USB hub faceplate doesn't snap in place, so it pulls out when I remove anything that's plugged in. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the installation and how the new unit operates.

I was able to install this in my wife's 2015 Ford Edge. Literally only needed two tools. This was the easiest upgrade I could have done, and I wish I'd done it a long time ago.

The radio works as advertised. The actual plug-in went smoothly, but for something focused strictly on a Ford replacement part, there could've been a little better description of the accessory pieces that went along with the radio. Overall everything was pretty straightforward, and the radio immediately worked with all the rest of the inputs—HVAC, settings, etc.

Very easy to install and works very well. If I had it to do all over again I'd give the wireless dongle a closer look, although I'm fairly confident wired over Bluetooth is the way to go. Make sure you have a high-quality data cable versus a couple-of-buck one off Amazon—you'll save yourself a lot of headaches with CarPlay. My only complaint: I wish they had sent Sour Patch Kids instead of Skittles, and a Boss Hoss Hot Wheels would have been nice, but now I'm just being picky! 😂

Sync 3 upgrade kit for the F-150 is excellent, complete, and fairly simple. Where I struggled was with the installation—specifically some of the existing extraneous cable connectors. It would be great to have more detailed step-by-step installation instructions for my specific vehicle included.

I ordered the Sync 3 upgrade for my 2015 Ford F-150, and a week later I was installing it. I made the install a little more difficult because I dropped 2 screws into places with no recovery, but I found matching ones from an area in my glove box that were easier to replace than the ones needed to secure the new screen. If you watch a how-to video a few times you should be in good shape. Support was very helpful with the process, and yes support—I finally figured out the CarPlay issue. I'm actually proud of myself, since I don't consider myself very tech-savvy, but DD Offroad made it so I didn't have to be. Love my new screen.
