::Under Contstruction::
Its no secret, many XJs have rockers that look like this.

But what can you do?
I was lucky enough to work with people so terrible at driving forklifts, that I got material for free. Plenty of angle from when one guy hit the support beam head on and knocked the angle down from the ceiling. And an entire overhead cage from when one guy dropped paper on it… a few thousand pounds of paper.

But how to put it all together? First, we cut out the rocker entirely, including pinch weld. Then took some 1/8″ sheet metal and cut into 2×2″ sections, 6 per side if I remember correctly without walking outside.

Following that I took some 1″ black gas pipe I recieved and was going to make tube fenders out of, but this became priority. Cut those into 2″ sections.

Welded them up as such.

Welded these to the floorboard as I wanted as many connection points as possible. These acted as spacers to weld the angle to to bring everything level. And welded in the angle.

I will need to aquire more pictures before finishing this, so expect more tonight.
