after the Cliff's trip i've been wanting to go with a 4 inch lift. but, Rusty's doesnt offer a complete 4 inch suspensionlift. They only offer a 3 inch suspension lift and a 1 inch body lift. Rough Country does offer a complete 4 inch suspension. Does a body lift really help at all or no?

Rusty's ALL THE WAY! This is a common discussion I have seen on forums hundreds of time. People go back and forth, but I have actually run both. Rough Country is decently priced but there components are not as good and the kits arent as complete. I hade a RC 3" + shackle and spacer on my '90 XJ and it was decent, but the 4.5" Rustys on my '99 sits much taller and is much stiffer.
As for the body lift, I would do a full suspesion rather than a part suspension part body. Only because you get more articulation while getting the same height. Your functionality is greater. Where a body lift helps is with clearance, like running larger tires. If you are trying to save $$ then I would do the 3" suspension and the 1" body.
All in my opinion,
-Tim

the only breakage we had last time out at the cliffs was the Rustys track bar tie rod end. No use in getting a stronger trackbar if you end up useing the stock tie rod end? I got a Rubicon express kit on my cherokee. The joints on that are total beef. No breakage to report.
