Welcome to the forum sir. Nice looking Taco, I have always wanted to build one but havent been able to get rid of this Jeep disease and probably never will. Hope to see you at one of our events or meet and greets, would love to be able to add a Taco to the ranks. Hope to see you soon.

Thanks for the compliments and the warm welcomes! At one time i thought i would never shake the jeep disease, then i took the taco offroad once stock on my buddies property, 3months later i sold my trailer, and my yj project, and have never looked back!! This truck is by far the best vehicle I have ever wheeled. My yj had a 4inch lift 33s and was locked up front, so the taco is built comprably. Plus its alot less stressfull to work on than the heep!!! I hope to make it out to an event in the future as well!

tjtank- The bumpers are made by all pro offroad. I would like to get a plate bumper for it, but i cant find one light enough. The problem with tacos is that your lift options are kinda limited, you can either get new struts and coils, or go to coilovers. OME makes new coils for it, but they cant handle the weight of a winch and heavy plate bumper and skids, which is why i went with the tube bumpers. The other lift option (besides swapping in a solid axle) would be coilovers, but i cant justify 1000 bucks for coilovers that will just get eaten away by road salt.

Ouch, that is quite alot for some coilovers. I don't know too much about yota's, but have you looked into maybe getting some aluminum bumpers? I know Savvy makes aluminum bumpers for Jeeps, not sure about Toyotas, but that is always an option. Either way, the bumpers you currently have on it look good IMO.
