Hey there guys, I wanted to stop in and say what's up I joined a few months ago but haven't been on since. School and work keep me pretty occupied and busy. Anyhow my name is Brendan, I've got a 99 WJ with some sorta-big plans for it in the very near future(this weekend lol) I'm gonna be running front IRO long arms, rear a-arm spacer, 4" teraflex coils, RC nitro 9000 shocks, IRO adjustable track bar, Interco HD steering stabilizer, Addco rear sway bar, 33x12.5x15 Hercules Trail Digger M/T's on TBD wheels… I'm going to school at Oakton in Des Plaines. Taking my EMT basic class this spring semester in hopes of fulfilling my long term goal of being a firefighter. A few of my cousins are on the dept. and I hear about how competitive it is and they said it helps to be a certified paramedic. So that's the goal for now, I just turned 20. I think that sums up most of whats going on with me. Anyways I look forward to some wheeling this upcoming year now that my Jeep is worthy(2.5" BB+31's before)

Welcome to the club, nice to see another WJ coming into the club. Also what department do you want to get on for firefighting. I'm a firefighter for Genoa/Kingston which is over by DeKalb. Its a great job to get into. Its hard but it pays off. Let me know if you need any help with either the EMT stuff or firefighting stuff. Hope to see you at the season kick off. Also if you got any recent pictures of the WJ, let's see 'em.

That would be great thanks. I will let you know cause I'm sure in this field I can definitely use any insider tips and help. Oh and for anyone interested here's my build thread from JF. If you follow the link in my first post it shows the cleanup as well

EDIT: btw in a dream world I'd like to get on the Chicago Fire Dept. But a suburb would be fine. I have 2 cousins in the city dept. and another in Des Plaines.

Welcome back to the forum Brendan!  Nice WJ.  I really like the color and setup you have.

If you don't already have it, you will want to install front recovery points and get your hands on a 20,000 LB rated two strap with no metal hooks.  Just a few things that will make you equipped for the trails.

We will be having our kickoff event in March.  Look for info to come.  Hope to see you there!
