What up y'all.

Live in the burbs..have owned Jeeps since I got my license…finally (in my 30's)bought a rig that is modded and ready for the trail.

I grew up on bikes (bmx, downhill mtb, xc, moto)and can't hit the ground anymore!!

Looking to get out and have fun.

Not a wrench by any means…but anxious to learn as I go…

Welcome to the Club / Forum. We've got a few months before we hit the trails again – but the wait is worth it…

inquiring minds want to know. What kind of rig? the burbs is kind of too broad of a balanketing statment. North south west? I wouldnt mind coming out to check out your new toy and talking jeep. Not sure when next meeting is? Oh and by the way very intereasted in boggers….haha thats on my list. I am not much of a wrench either but have built a good set of tools and my yj is mostly craigs list built. Good todo as much of the work ya can cause only real way to know how it works and how to fix when in a pinch. Anyone can throw$$$$$$$$ at a jeep but the key is knowledge. Feel free to pm or email me at drunkencityworker at hotmail.com

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I’ll try to post a pic or two if it will show up tho I’m not sure…

I’m stoked to learn this thing inside and out and sure that it won’t be long until I know the ropes..

I need to get rid of these boggers bad tho…before I give in and pound the pavement. I posted them on craiglist but apparently not a big market in Illinois!!

I’m near O’hare airport. 78' CJ5

Welcome to the Forum! Nice Jeep!! It looks awesome with the boggers. Our next meeting should be in March 2010. Keep checking the forum, bc we will have updates for next years calendar.

Looking forward to meeting/wheeling with you!

Hadn't seen this post.

Boggers are in very high demand in the midwest due to the type of mud we have … clay. What axels are you running? Those tires will easily piss off stock CJ axels. I'd be all over them but I prefer my pizza cutters. 35x10.5s.

Your CJ is pretty tall for the very short wheelbase it has.
