Hey everybody I'm Mike from McLean Illinois, about 20 miles south of Bloomington. I've been into Jeeps ever since I got my license and have recently started to really get into customizing mine to make it not only more street worthy but very well outfitted for the offroad scene. I have a 1997 ZJ on 4" of lift and 32's, used to do a lot of badlands runs but I'm in the process of building the ZJ for 3/4 ton axles and lockers etc. I'm very good with CB radios and other electronic installation and I have installed lifts on TJ's, XJ's, and ZJ's and know a lot of issues that you could run into with them. Don't let my age fool you I have learned a lot about these Jeeps in my time and will gladly share my opinions and help to anybody. Hope to see you all soon!

Welcome to the forum sir. We have a season kick off coming up in March, so if you would like to come out and check the club out that would be awesome. Oh and on a better note, another person with a ZJ, awesome :)

I would call ballistic fabirication at 520-888-4441. a lot of their work is custom and if called i'm sure they would build you one. The aftermarket for the 8.8 is pretty limited when it comes to pinion guards as most of them have to be custom made and actually need to be welded to the housing.
I hope to have my jeep functional in March, I still need to locate my axles and make some brackets to bolt them up, but if anything I will be read around June!
