Hi, my name is Mike and I am new to the offroading scene. I have always been a sports car speed freak, but I always had a soft spot for wranglers. The first car I ever learned stick on was my friends 95 YJ, and it was a blast to drive. Finally 10 years later (last week) I picked up a 2000 TJ. It it a 4L 5-speed, lifted 4" with 33" tires, locker front and rear diffs, soft and hard top, and has only 51k miles. The jeep is in amazing shape, but im itchen to get it dirty, hopefully a few of you here can help me do that. I have only gone offroading with my friend 10 years ago in some back woods, but nothing since then.
I am hoping to meet some nice people, and get out there and run over some crap.

Hey neighbor! Welcome to the club forum. If you haven't already seen the 'Home Page' here – This trip to the Badlands (6/25-26) is something you should really consider. If you can't make it, we have Meet & Greets every month at Paps Bar Rt.83(Elmhurst road) in Mt. Prospect. Come on out to one and meet the club.

Thanks everyone for the welcome, its nice to see a good group of people on here. I won't be able to make it to the badlands meet, but the one in mt prospect shouldn't be a problem.
