Hey, I never knew this place exsisted. I've been on Jeep Forum for a few years now and i've been wheeling since 04 or so. I'm from Elk Grove Village.
I have a 98 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I've done a lot of work to it over the last few years. It is from Florida orginally so it is solid from a rust stand point. My entire underside is raptorliner spray on bed liner. I'm running a Iron Rock Off road 4.5 inch lift. This was a custom deal that IRO put together for me so i could have a 10 inches of travel. Anyway it is a IRO 4.5 inch coils, IRO full leaf packs, rough country extend shackles, bilstein 5150 shocks with bar pin eliminators, IRO steel braided brake lines, Rough Country X flex control arms, RE slip yoke eliminator, IRO adjustable double sheer track bar, 31x10.5x15 BFG Mud Terrain km1 on 15 inch TJ Ravine Wheels(these are pretty used up). As for the interior i'm in the midst of installing a WJ leather interior. I should have the front in by this weekend. The rear is a little more involved and i'm still working on it. I also am spraying Grey monstaliner bed liner the entire floor pan.
As for this spring, i have been gathering parts for the last few months for the next stage of my build. I have a ARB air locker for my 8.25, 4.88 gears front and rear, Chromolly axles for the 8.25, tube liners for my HPD30, IRO high steer setup, Rear disc brake conversion, Spidertrax spacers, 33x12.5x15 Good Year MTR's. A better front recovery system, better skids, maybe bumpers if i have time.
So far this year the setup has worked really well. I'm planning to swing by the meet and greet this weekend and hopefully the jeep will be in one piece again to bring out.
