a buddy of mine pointed me in this direction. I am a total newb when it comes to off-roading. This past February I have picked up an 03 4-Runner v-8. It is bone stock and will stay this way :) yeah, I know I know :) But I am more into bikes then cars.

I am contemplating on coming out to your newby ride later this month. Any concerns with bringing my 4-Runner there?

Thank you

Alex

Welcome to the site and please come to the Newbie Run.  4Runners are quite capable, I have a friend that has one, I believe it his has factory electric lockers.  Make sure you have a recovery point in both the front and the rear and a tow strap if possible.

You should also bring a CB or FRS radio so we can communicate with you.

It won't stay stock if you start to wheel with us, you will get the itch.

Welcome to the forum sir. As Weee pointed out, if you are planning on coming to the newbie run please have front and rear recovery and either a cb radio already installed in your vehicle or a hand held one. Communication is very important not only on the trails but to DDO as well. But again, welcome to the forum and hope to see you at one of our events.
