I just got my first Jeep in 10 years after my Acura RSX S Type was stolen. I was close to getting another sports car, but after competing for parallel parking and seeing new nicks and dents on my bumpers, I decided it was time for another Jeep. Now i smile as someone kiss the back of my car only to end up with a 2"reciever through thier grill. . . . . . . Well that and the craters in the streets and the fun winterland snow of this year totally swayed me back to the Jeep side
I found a SWEET black Rubicon in Madison with a 4 in lift dn brand new 33" tires and I just said "SOLD!"
Long story short I have to get back out there and get off the road. I am not a show and shine kinda guy and jeeps look better with dirt. So I am on the look out for some newbie trails. Its been a few years and this jeep has minimal battle wounds.
Hit me up if ya know a good spot.

I would try Cliff's Insane Terrain, they have some good trails down there. This club does not support illegal offroading so if thats they type of stuff you are looking for, well good luck with that because you wont see any of our members in this club doing that sort of thing. You should come to a meet and greet and check the club out. We usually have a meet and greet every 2nd saturday of the month plus a trip towards the end. Great way to meet new people and see some cool trails. Hope to see ya at a meet and greet.

Welcome to the forum! Good to see another city dweller. Jeeps are perfect for city parking. Keeps the bumper cars at bay.
You should check out our next meet and great. It'll be held on Saturday Aug 13th. Location and details will be posted shortly on the front page of the forum. As Mopar Matt mentioned, we don't tolerate illegal offroading, however, there isn't any locations in the city so you shouldn't be tempted.
We have a trip scheduled for the Cliff's Off Road Park for Aug 20th. It's about a 45min drive near Seneca IL. It's a LEGAL park and has a few newbie trails to check out. You have to meet our trail requirements to wheel with us (front and rear recovery points, tow strap w no metal hooks, full size tire, and CB is you have one) More is posted in the about us section.
Hope to see you at the M&G or the Cliffs.
