hey I goto a 94zj, loaded, with 6 inch lift and 35's. Locked front and rear, 4.56's, warn 8274, custom front and rear bumpers. Im pretty hardcore, there isnt much Im afraid of getting into. I got a few friends with some pretty sweet rigs, we all built our own, very little has been purchased from catalogs. Anyone can find something in a catalog and put it on their rig. We do 99% of our own fabwork and welding. I give props to anyone that can do what we do, you deserve it. As far as places I been wheeling… where havent I been including the farmers field by my friends in the country. Dont bother going off about illegal wheeling on me, its A LOT different when you know the farmer and he comes to get you in his big tractor. Guess thats about it for now. Hopefully I will see some of you on the trail.

I wish I had all the equipment to build my own parts, Life would be soo much easier… but lack the tools and the space to do it. I also wanna see pics! im interested on what the bumpers look like.

Wait, what? No pictures yet. Well what are you looking for in a club, if you read the "ABOUT US" section you will be able to see the run down of DDO and how we operate as a club. We are a friendly family club and are open to any 4x4 vehicles. We are a laid back bunch of people, that like to have a good time on and off the road and are willing to help out whenever someone needs an extra hand with anything. So…how about some pictures or better yet, why dont you tell me what you are looking for in a club.

What is your rig top secret?
Are you afraid competing clubs will steal your advanced wheeling technology?
Still trying to decide if these kids are 'worthy' of seeing your rig?
Worried we don't have sunglasses and will be blinded by the radiant awesomeness of your rig?

We dont force people to post up pictures of their rigs, if crawling94ZJ doesnt want to post pictures up of his rig until he has made up his mind to join the club then thats fine. I just figured that if a person comes on the forum and introduces themselve, they would post a picture of their rig as well just so if we see them on the trails we would know what it looks like.
NotoriousDUG-In response to your "rant", it may sound stupid to you but I would appreciate it if you left those types of comments to thread replys. I'm pretty sure since its a 94 ZJ, its no "top secret" rig and since you are using our forum to chat with other off roaders and you are not a part of DDO please do not attack other possible members. I dont go on GLJT's website and attack people on your forum. We both have clubs and we are both in this hobby together. Thanks.

1. If you think that was a rant you should do more intel work on me…
2. I did leave that type of comment to thread replys but I am assuming you made a typo there and where asking me not to make fun of people…
3. GLJT is not my forum, not my website and not my anything; I have not been part of that clubs leadership for some time and, truth be told, I am not even sure if I am a member or not. My actions and opinions do not reflect those of GLJT or it's members and vise-versa. To be honest with you I don't think most of those guys don't like me very much and the ones who do smell funny.
4. Your own rules say to grow thick skin; what I said was pretty darn mild when you consider the guy showed up, talked about wheeling in corn fields and then questions if the users here are worthy of pictures of his rig. What kind of response should that get?
5. Think about what Truth said. Legal or not field wheeling looks bad, reflects poorly on the hobby and is just kinda lame in general. couple that with a superior attitude and ask yourself if that is somebody you want to be on the trail with…
Meh, I think it'sa troll anyway…

Our forum rules do say "grow a thick skin" but he is still on the fence to see whether or not he would like to join DDO and we dont need nonmembers of the club attacking him. I do agree with what Truth said, I have not met him but he seems like a stand up kind of guy.
As for involvement with GLJT, all I know is that it says you are a member. You talk about "intel" on you, well that has been done. I have done my intel on everyone who has joined our forum since the past couple months to make sure that they are DDO material. I'm not saying that DDO is the best club in Illinois or the chicagoland area, I am simply stating that I would like to see people on this forum and joining our club to be indivduals who love this sport/hobby just as much as I do. Doesnt mind spending a weekend at someone's house fixing their rig so they could join the club for a trail run. Joking around and poking fun, I'm fine with, I poke fun at some of the members of DDO myself and they give it right back. I just want to make sure that people joining this forum and possibily the club arent in it to start drama.
So NotoriousDUG, if my response angered you, I didnt mean to jump down your throat about the topic. I am just trying to keep the peace. I would like nothing more then to meet you at our season kick off in March and possibily see you join the ranks of DDO, whether you are involved with GLJT or not, cuz I respect that club just as much as the next. So I apologize NotoriousDUG for my previous reply.

I smell hilarious.
I assumed it was a troll. That's why I was surprised anyone responded. It was a combo of the farm field wheelin, the "I'm hardcore" sttitude, and the bit about DDO not having anything to offer him. I'm obviously not a member here, but id I was I wouldn't pay any attention to that.

If you angered me youwould know it; I do not do passive aggresive well, your intel should have noted that.
Actually I am listed as vice pimp at GLJT, I like to think it's and honorary position given to me because I know when someone needs to taste the back of my hand but more likely it has to do with the GLJT web monkey being to lazy to change it.
You will find few people around here more interested in making sure there is a good image of off roading and I can be helpful, at times.
I'm not really a joiner, you know lone wolf and all that jazz but I do hope to be out on the trails this year.
