So i got some DW a couple months back and was curious to see that my steering isnt quite the same. i was wondering if DW could actually jack up the steering box and wearing down the bearing in there making it feel "loose". or is this another issue in its self?

Left uncorrected DW can even make you teeth loose and pucker your sphincter.  So yes it can cause all sorts of havoc to your suspension and steering components.   I had the shakes when the passenger front tire tossed a belt and it was NOT a fun experience.  My problem was before I could figure out what the original cause was it also took out my track bar bushing, track bar mount (on axle), my stabilizer, and a second pair of tires.  It probably also was the demise of a bearing unit too.  That is unconfirmed because the bearing unit failed about 6 months after I finally corrected the DW.  But all of this damage was limited to the passenger side of that axle…

Well what happened to begin with, was my front trac bar fell out "snapped the bolt" on the interstate squared off all four tires, ripped out the brake lines, broke lower contol arms. i have replaced everything and bought a new trac bar. everything seems to be going just fine. i can get up to high way speeds just fine hit bumps like its cool at high speeds with no problem. it just doesnt feel the same. i know its not going to feel like a bmw but the steering just feels like its "loose" for the most part. ive checked all steering linkage with the engine off to see if i can find any slop in the column. every thing is tigt but the pitman arm coming out of the steering box isnt turning with everything else above the steering box. i was thinking a worn out steering box possibly?

If you want a reference I had my steering box rebuilt by west texas offroad.  Great job and speedy service.
