just a quick question for you all, im no tire and rim guru and i figured some one on here would know so here it is… can i put a 32 x 11.50 r 15 on a 15 x 7 rim. i know that the 32 x 11.50 is suggested to be on an 8 to 10 inch wide rim but i have a set of jeep rims (15 x 7) and i may have a set of 32 x 11.50s coming my way and i was just curious if i could make the two fit. thanks for you insite in adavance.

should be good justin. The only thing that its gonna do is balloon a little bit… Kinda like when a tire starts to go flat, you get that fat area. Its prob not the best idea, but I dont think it will cause you too many problems. I wonder about the offset of the wheels, you might rub.

You want a narrower wheel for the trail. 15x7 will allow you to air down more with less of a chance of breaking the bead. A wider wheel like a 15x10 won't hold as much pressure against the wheel bead allowing for debris to jam its way in and cause slow leaks. For a 11.5 wide tire, if you can't squeeze it into a 15x7,go with a 15x8.

Yes.
And not only that but it is going to be BETTER for offroading because with a wider tire on a narrower rim you will be able to air down more before you have to worry about blowing a bead.
On road you are going to have issue with the tire not wearing even unless you run at low pressures which may, or may not, put your sidewall at risk and will probably cause it to handle poorly, especially at speed.
If you have narrow rims and wide rims and are planning a set of trial tires and street tires put the fatties on the street tires and the narrows on the trail tires.
