I went to Bundy Hill with a couple of others back in mid-June. It's definitely a small park (think slightly bigger than Cliffs). Some here have expressed an interest in seeing photos, so instead of hijacking other threads, here are some of the photos I took at Bundy.
We stayed on some of the less-than-technical stuff because the other KJ was stock and the WK – he has a 2" lift, but we found that the longer wheelbase and the lack of 4-lo was causing him problems. I did follow the dude in the XJ through one section of wooded trail that they said required lockers, and did fine without.
It's a fun park, but small. Similar to the areas just bordering the dunes at Badlands.

Looks awesome! I really think we should make this our August trip.

When I read yellocoyote's post regarding her trip to Bundy Hill (on the Lost Jeeps forum), I kind of got the impression the park wasn't worth a weekend trip. As she stated here, it's small (like the Cliffs). Granted the pic's she submitted are interesting but is it really worth the time, money and distance to go there? It may be. But like I posted elsewhere here, August is out for me.

Don't get me wrong… it IS a fun place. I'm one for exploring and finding new places to wheel away from the normal 'standby' places and parks (Cliffs and Badlands can get kinda stale), and I had a lot fun for the day that I was there. I would go back again for a day trip if I'm in the area. But note that if you decide to wheel both Saturday and Sunday, you'd be repeating areas – I know some people don't have any problems doing that. I don't want to discourage a group trip, but wanted to give you fair warning… that's all.

Much appreciated Jayme.
Again for the record, I'm not able to make Bundy Hill in Aug. But maybe those in the club who would like to go should do it.

If anyone is interested, I'll be joining a group that's going to run at Bundy on Sunday, Aug. 15th. I'm out that way for the weekend anyway.
