A builder out in Schaumburg made this bumper for me.  The bumper is 2x6 .250 wall. It uses JCR Offroad tie in brackets with seven bolts on each side to tie the bumper into the unibody.  The tie ins are 1/4 inch thick.  I'm running a JCR steering box spacer also.  The clevis mounts for the d rings are 1 inch wide, 2 inches tall, and 4.5 inches long solid steel.  They are mounted through the bumper welded to both the back and front.  The tie in plates are welded onto the clevis mounts and the bumper.  I'm using 3/4 inch d rings.  Here's some pictures:

New and shiny:

Here's the d ring mount:

And I'll have to remove the fender braces later to get a better picture of the frame tie ins.  Too cold out at this hour for that.  Here is where the bumper mounts into the three stock bumper holes:

And then it ties in to the three steering box holes on the drivers side and one bolt farther back through a sleeve in the uniframe.  We also cut out the holes to run the same steering box bolts on the other side as some extra beef:

I'll drop a craigslist link to the builder if it's allowed, don't want it to be considered advertising.

Casper, that is a great looking bumper.  For what it's worth, I've researched aftermarket front bumpers for TJ Wranglers and I know from what you wrote about the quality build (especially the D-ring mount weld construction), the person who fabricated your bumper knows what thay are doing.  Nice.

Thanks for the compliments on it.  I dig it so far.  I gave it a few good whacks already and it holds well.
