thanks for the comments.. it actually an old pic from about 3 years ago.. i have BFG mud-terrain on the front and the rear has BFG mud-terrain T/A KM2's on the rear. and the brush gaurd is gone off the front.

I haven't actually taken it offroad yet i've had problems with the t-case and i am in the process of swapping the t-case to a NP231 manual shift.. i have all the parts to do it all i need is the time to do it, ha! :)  but i can say it drives very well with the 6 in susp. lift and the 35's.

i plan on doing a solid axle swap in the front with a dana44 HP(for now) and swapping the rear axle with a dana 60 full float. all on coil springs :)  its a slow build with my axle right now but im not really in a hurry. my front axle is almost complete.

Of all the so-called "SUV's" (domestic & foreign) that have been made over time, I always thought that body style had the best looking lines – especially profile.  That is one nice ZR2.

Are you going to wheel it before you do all that axle swap work? There's a buddy of mine Steve that has one of the nicest ZR2's I've seen. Not sure if you know him or not, he goes by 1TFROT on forums. He's done extensive work to his similar to what you're planning. I think by now he's got 60's front and rear, no bed, full cage, ect. I'm sure he could answer questions for ya if you got any.

That is one sweet truck man! I love the body styling on those. One of my buddies had a 2 door Jimmy with the same styling and all, but RWD, he trashed the hell out of it. Yours looks clean, like the color too! Cool

Hope you can make it to the Meet N' Greet in March, maybe we'll see you out on the trails as well!

i have the t-case already from a 92-93 chevy s10.. they made NP231J, NP231C, and NP231D  …J=Jeep, C=Chevy, D=Dodge…

i have the HD t-case which is the wide chain and 6-gear planetary set.. and a cable shifter for it. i have all the stuff to do the swap but time is the issue.
