yes, Coors Light is what we have had at both the christmas party and the season kick off. And it also being Evans prefered beer, it does make the logical choice

So was it any good?

Actually (and this might surprise some of you) my all-time favorite beer is Schneider Weisse — and yes I know how to pour it correctly.  Of course you need a Schneider Weisse or similar tall  glass to properly do it.  Regardless of how many I've had, I can empty the bottle into the glass in one pour.  There are times when I hear someone order it and I enjoy watching them to see if they know what they're doing.  If they don't know what they're doing, I will offer a lesson.  Don't know how many times I've taught people how to pour the beer but I've always enjoyed doing so.

I had it(Down and Dirty stout) at one of my favorite beer joints, http://www.bavarian-lodge.com/…../Home.html.  They have 36 beers on tap and they change very frequently.   There do not serve any mass produced domestic beers, but beers from around the world, and craft american breweries.

It's a great place if you love beer like me or have a passion to try something new.  I am pretty sure they have had Schneider Weiss on tap before. So I have probably had it, and liked it.  My favorite style of beer is hefeweizen so thumbs up to you Jerry!

I am also a home brewer so I am kind of a beer snob :-)

Interesting…  I've never seen Scheneider Weisse on tap?  I've always believed it was only available in the bottle.

I knew a guy who once owned a chain of sports related eateries (I called them bars, he did not) around the Chicago area who had a menu of 200 beers at any given time.  I once did them all.  So I can relate.

If you (or anyone) have never been to Walter Payton's Round House in Aurora, I highly recommend it.  The food is excellent and pricey — while the beer selection there is second to none.

Oh yes the Roundhouse!  That's a cool place, I have been there a few times good food drinks and atmosphere.

They have a beer there that smells like Coco puffs :)

Bavarian lodge just had a Wheat tasting that I just missed and they had your beer on tap.  I will keep an eye out for it and let you know when its on tap again.

Laugh  OH yeah…  Been doing that for years now.  High Life is my 'blue collar' beer of choice.  I'll leave it at that.  Wink
