Do those you you who run heavy aftermarket bumpers have heavier front springs? Wth rustys lift kits, they give you a choice of 150 lb and 180 lbs springs. I will be running a JCR prerunner bumper eventually but not right away. Which springs shoud I get?
Thanks

I know in the future you're gonna have a pre-runner bumper but if you ever plan on running a winch on it, get the 180lb. other wise I'd say just stick to the 150lb. The bumper alone isn't going to add that much weight over stock.

My tie ins weigh more than my stock bumper. I would only run the stiffer springs if you want a winch. My springs are really stiff and with the bumper I notice a small improvement in how they compress.
