Hmm very interesting. But your steering is sweet as it is…oh but wait when you go power steering you could use a different gear box so it still lines up…am I close…have you been reading pirate again….I think waggy springs give the best flex and are the longest for such a strech or maybe that was sua I saw

Yeah id move the front axle forward 5-6" and i would be at about 100" wheelbase, main concern is steering thats why i want to mock it up first and not buy something im not sure i will use ya know

Yea I hear ya. I think astro van gear box is what I saw used to put drop pitman arm in a better place forward. Thats why the rear strech is more common. Sell your gas tank skid and fuel cell it, comp cut and strech it on out. I dunno. just know you dont have a back seat and are going to fab a rear tool box anyway. If you dont mind me asking but what is gained by strech? A bit better climber? Never mind about the rear. Just remembered that you already bought drive shaft and welded perches.

Pretty sure he just want to use them to mock them up to see how far forward they put his axle so he could figure if thats a route he wants to go. So sag wouldnt really matter

why would you want to streach the front insted of the rear? and cant you just extend your frame?
and what would you gain from gong to a 100″ wheelbase is it make it more stabe at hight speed on the road? as i kno 100″ is consideerd optimal for off road racers but 88-92 is good for wheeling in the woods

I don't want to stretch the rear for a few reasons moving the fuel tank also comp cutting the rear.
Reason for getting a 100" wheelbase yes it will handle slightly better on the highway but will also take going up and down hills off road better
It's just an idea I know the rear is the easier then the front and I just wanted to see what I would have to do to make it work, plus I am thining that with my Jeep at 81" tall and if I could stretch it out a bit I would make it a bit more stable
