Gotta say thanks to erock for stopping by. Got the deep trans pan in. Also took the gas lines off my spare 2.5 and replaced the burned ones. The return line has a leak at the end closest to motor. I will stop by oriellys and see if an oring or little plastic sleeve is available. Otherwise if not going to rubber hose it since it doesnt see the pressure the other line sees. But moral of the story it came out of garage under its own power and shifted fine for the little amount I drove it b/c of fuel drip. Next is stop the drip and then look into the intereasting feel my steering had…lol

Painted the SOLID diff covers today. Cleaned the K&N filter. Fixed the exhaust leak. Tomorrow thinking about running the wiring to the fog lights on the ZJ and fixing the rust on the hood.

Let see after last week when I bleed the brakes I did notice that the pedal went to the floor after bleeding due to the add 3/4 ton brakes, so I picked up a 78 Mercury grand marquis master cylinder with 4 wheel disc for 16 bucks at the local parts store bench bleed it but didn't rebleed the brakes yet but I got a good pedal now

Also measured for my driveshaft got some good length out of that JB SYE and putting motor as far forward as possible 24 3/4".

Also ordered a new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder with hose

I started to replace the Driver's Side Axle U-Joint today. I got as far as getting the axle shaft out. After monkeying around with a u-joint press for one hour, I decided to give up. Looks like the local NAPA is going to have a u-joint to press out tomorrow morning… :-)

I'll probably be installing 3/4" Rubicon Express spacers in back. I've got the Crawler Ready 2"ers in front already, so the RE ones will complete the Jeeps "budget" stance. It actually looks taller than stock already, so thats a plus. I've also got the Spicer driveshaft u-joints I've gotta replace. I might start that on Thursday evening. As far as today, just drove it to work. Got plenty of compliments. Cool

Yesterday-

Started Axle swap. The kid who had it before me out a 3'' lift with a  about 2 inch spacer and th e back was only 3.

Today

Got new brakes lines(flex lines) and Spring Isolators, got axle all in and tightened up. went to to brakes on and wrong rotors(1 was 2WD the other was 6 lug). No problem went to Advanced Auto and they didnt have them until tomorrow at 7:30 AM so i ordered then and would put the shitty ones on jsut to get it running tonight. go to put pads on…… wrong pad and calipers(for 2WD) so out on my 45 min trip to Napa distrubution center I got all wrong parts. So i ordered them from Advanced Auto. Everything will be in tomorrow at 7:30AM and I will start as soon as i get out there. Also I drained my trans fluid well it all come out when we pulled driveshaft. Looked like a Chocolate Shake so i got that changed today also

All that is left is put on brakes and bleed them.

it now looks like I have 4WD! the conversersion has begun!!!!

Replaced alternator today, reconnected AC lines to the condenser, and touched up some paint on the grill mesh.
