Changed the oil. I was getting tired of looking at my rusty shackles so I yanked them off and painted. Also lubed the bolts and bushings while they were apart. More to come

Got my heater working. Was able to fire it up this weekend and about 15 years of dirt and mud started kicking out of the vents. Not too shabby for a 32 year old Jeep CJ-7 / wagoneer.

Well the snorkel came in for the ZJ. So did the new K&N intake filter. Starting to mock everything up now for the snorkel. Probably going to install the trans cooler while I am at it.

It's the kind that work's way better than a soft top in Chicago winters I found it hanging mysteriously in my Shed.

I washed my windows for the first time today. It took a scotch bright pad and a lot of elbow grease. It's amazing how clear they are, I can't get over it. By far the best mod ever.

Installed Superior axle tube seals on the front axle, started to install the Aussie locker up front but need to pick up a 3/16 punch to get the spider gears out of the carrier. Also found a torn drag boot from the Cliff's Halloween run.

About a month ago I scored a rather beat-up looking Warn M8274 winch on Craig's list. The PO had installed new brushes in the motor, Solenoids, and wiring. He claimed it had a newer 100ft synthetic rope but it turned out to be 48ft long.

I tore it apart, bead blasted the cases, rebuilt the brake, repacked the bearings, replaced all the seals and gaskets, and color matched it to the Jeep.

I'm still waiting for the arrival of the wireless control and 125ft Synthetic rope. I then removed my brush guard and tow brackets and was left with basically a stock front end - I don't like it at all!

I put the winch in place to get measurements for the brackets I'll have the machinist at work fab up.

The end result will be a Rugged Ridge XHD Short winch base bumper with 60MM hoop over.

Good job on the clean up, you got that thing looking pretty good. The only thing I had trouble with is mounting the thing. Its heavy and its very important that you mount it square. I used a small chain hoist to hold it up while I created the mounts. You're going to love once it done.

Removed CV's and front driveshaft. Front differential needs a new pinion bearing… and might be getting 4.10's to replace the 3.73's. Depends on how much damage is there.

Justed checked Warn's site – 110lbs with 150ft of cable. I'm going synthetic so it should be a few pounds lighter…

I think that Warn is lying on that weight, I think that it is closer to 200lbs, either that or I'm getting old and weak.

Yeah, it feels a lot heavier than 110 lbs. I think I'm going to shorten my cable up to save some weight.

I replaced the tie-rods on the tow vehicle, patched some holes in the floor of the bronco, and worked on the tubing bender stand. Hopefully this week I'll finally be ordering my new seats and parts for the bender this week.
