Yeah it was definitely a steal, glad I jumped on it when I did. How many coats of paint did you use on those sliders? They turned out really well, might I add.

The welds look strong but there are spots he missed. grrr. so water can get into the tubes. Just so long as they keep the rocker damage down and keep the trees at the cliffs off my side. And the step will help the short people in my life…lol

The brand of paint is called Hammerite. Made by the same people that make kills. It is really thick stuff and is recomended to use on bare metal. Its supposed to bond somehow with the surface. They have different textures. I went with the hammered finish to hide my kids and my poor painting skills. You can order at ace hardware. They had best price believe it or not. $55 out the door took a week to get.
Oh to answer your question. That is just one coat. THICK stuff. Goes on like por-15. Plan on using a combination of the 2 when I do my frame after gas tank skid plate.

Changed the oil in the ZJ, added some coolant and am planning on installing the Rusty's lower control arms this week. If nobody is doing anything this week and wants to come over and help me or just hang out let me know. Hopefully this week I get my phone back from us cellular, damn blackberrys :)

I had a busy day today I hooked up my calipers on the front and brake hoses… Then I had to run brake lines on the axle to the rear caliper hoses then Chris and I bleed the brakes also got a chance to install my JB conversions super short sye man it is sick how short it is, got that installed on the Jeep and measured for my rear drive shaft still have a couple questions about the measurement but I will get that straightend out soon and have one ordered up here soon too
