Unpaved roads around here are few and far between. If you know of any please post them here. Could make for fun wheeling roads when it snows if they don't get plowed quickly.
In west Elgin/Gilberts between Highland Avenue and Route 72 there is a road called McCornack road that is hard packed gravel. It goes for about 3 miles total. I like to go on it from time to time because it makes me feel like I'm in the country instead of the edge of the suburbs.

I travel that road once in awhile at lunchtime – I work near Randall and Rt. 72. It's a nice break from things.

Haha, thats funny. I'm always itching to drive on an unpaved road whenever I see one. Although around my area, there are not too many that I know of.

Hmmm. No unpaved road that I know of where John and I live. Then again, we do live on the north side of the city! Ha!
