Trying to figure out this bumper stuff. Bent pipe A and glue it to….. scratch that… duct tape it to pipe B. Make lots of sparks…. Take pipe A off, drink a beer, throw pipe A away and start working on pipe C.

Sounds like just what I need. Can you do the same for an XJ?

If you are making sparks you need to add "remove dust mask" in prior to drinking beer. I think that I'm still blowing black crap out of my nose from making my bumper a year ago.

Good call on the mask.
Ozric- you might want to wait and see how mine turns out. Plus, I might need your XJ for about a week and a case of beer.

Just take you discarded pieces and duct tape them to my xj. Make sure I get a d-ring though. :)

Nice winch – I just picked up the same one off of Craig's list… The M8274 is built like a TANK! Just finished putting it back together will all new seals and paint.

yup. mine was a craigslist find too. They are strong winches but they are a pain to mount. only used it once to pull a tree down, but it worked great.
