Here is the thing, if you re-gear it yourself it is dirty cheap and because it is a front end the gear set-up is not even that critical comparatively.  Gears are not hard to do.

do you kno where i can get gears from?   
i may look in to it again just the genral  concusion last tame i broght this up it was crazy expesive basiicly anything more than $100 it aint going to be worth doing  

i dont kno why it is including this in ur qote sorry

plese corrct me if im wrong but  the zj an xj have revers cut gears i think 

so the ring and  pinion  are from $240 
and then i need to replce the cariar  that $50 for an epty  cariar   thats  abut the price of a used 3.73    without inculed time whith set up and calling in help from frends

What is a epty cariar?

I'll assume empty carrier…  Which I just looked and I was thinking the D30 break was 3.73/4.10 so yes you would have to find a carrier; that's just a good excuse to geta  detroit…

You are right, it would cost more but you are going to get ont he trail a lot faster if you just buy the parts and change your ratio.
