Hey. Just wondering if anyone here has tried making skids out of HDMW plastic. There's a few on other forums but wonderin if anyone has here and where they got the HDMW. Thanks.

1/2" is very strong, lighter than steel, not gonna rust, slides accross rocks like butter. You can cut it to fit with a jig saw and circular saw. I know people that have made bumper to bumper skids with it. Just curious where to get it in the Chicagoland area. It does need to stay clear of exhaust cause it will warp.
