Jeeps get good enough gas mileage for what we like to do with them. Yeah, Ive fought it out with mine trying to squeeze every drop between some pay checks, But its worth driving something I know I wont die in if something goes wrong!!! much rather get 12mpg than pay a hospital bill

Personally I would rather have a Jeep then an import or any other vehicle that gets good gas mileage because they dont make a stinger bumper for a toyota supra, lol.

I was actually thinking about a bike…. but that would just be a terrible Idea for me, even though I am licenced to drive one. But I would rock a smart car… after I lift it and do a jeep lookin body kit,

I get about 14mpg in the city, and about 17-19 on the highway if i keep it below 65, above that my MPG drops like a rock!!  Back when the taco was stock i was able to get about 20-21 mpg on the highway!!!  This truck gets pretty good milage considering all the stuff ive done to it.   Back when i had my yj i was getting probibly around 10 or 12 around town, and it didnt go on the highway much so i dont know that.  That was with 33s 3.07s and the 5spd (well 4spd with those tires and gears lol!!).

The first couple of tanks right after I bought my Jeep (last November) averaged around 8-10mpg on the road.  It had some issues.  I think it gets around 15mpg these days, and I hope to improve upon that as much as possible for some of the long drives we have to our wheeling destinations.

I enjoy burning all the gas those lame Prius owner's brag saving!

Which reminds me, once I have all my off-road mods complete, I will seriously consider a Hemi conversion.

And Evans is going to help me do it — right Matt?!  Wink

Oh and I burned 1/2 tank of gas each way between Home & Badlands.

I burned a half tank as well on each way, but less on the way back, even though it was more sparatic speeds, and not a lot of drafting

Can't do that, too much roof.  It's either a Wrangler or staying with Zuks for me.
