HA the winch part is great!

I got stuck in a Costco lot once high centered on a mound in my silverado. Had to call my bud in his TJ to pull me off, embarrassing…

Instead of lockers why not get some better tires :), lockers arent going to help you when you are slipping on black ice or ice for that matter.

Did you ever have a posi? How did that work for ya in snow or ice. Pretty sure thats the worst thing you could do. I havnt had a chance to get mine out yet but I have been told with locker in front its gonna be very intereasting.

uummm, not to worried about black ice in a mall parking lot, and a locker wouldnt locker wouldnt lock immediatly, it still allows for the play so you have the outer wheel turning faster, but when you have one wheel off the ground, that when it locks, wich is what I really needed.

What exactly do you mean by that?

the ones that I have been looking at still allows for the slip you need to turn, and the way i say it explained, seames like there needs to be a decent power difference in the wheels to get the locker to lock. aka, one free spinning wheel, from my understanding, with both wheels getting traction, it remains unlocked. conditions to lock are heavy acceleration, and free spinning wheels

My lock rite I have in my Ranger stays locked full time when I turn it unlocks while it is unlocked in a turn all I have to do is goose it a little bit and it locks right back up for the first month it wouldn't unlock on turns till I guess it broke in

Even doing burn outs with it the locker stays locked till one side gets to much grip then it unlocks and you hear a big loud bang from the rear end and then I am back to one wheel peels
