I was watching the Rockford news coverage on the recent flooding in the Chicago area. They had some short video clips and I'd swear they showed the front entrance to Paps bar & grrille. Did Paps get flooded? I hope not.

On Saturday we were flying out of O'Hare to Durango Colorado at 6:15. We left Medinah at 4:00 and nearly couldn't get to the airport. We ended up going in a service entrance off of Irving going north into the airport. Once we got in there were horrible lines to check in. It took about 3 hours to check in and get through security. Our flight was rescheduled but even if we got on it we would have missed our connection.
We ended up taking 3 flights to get into Sante Fe NM at 9:00 that night. Then we had to rent a car and drive to Durango. We should have gotten into Durango at 11:00am!

Paps did get water. My parents live about 6-7 blocks away on Easy St., yes thats the name of their street and they also got water, reason why I was unable to go to the unofficial cliff's run this past weekend. Hopefully Pap's didnt get a lot of water but when it rains a lot that parking lot does get filled up pretty quickly, plus when I went to my parent's house at 3:30am Saturday morning, Elmhurts rd, route 83 was pretty much under water.
