For those of you who have death wobble I found one more thing to check:  

I experienced my first death wobble after the badlands trip. I decided to clock back the axle a little bit to get the top ball joint a little further back then the bottom one.  After taking the axle off, I found out that I sheared the alignment pins off the spring packs.  This probably happened because the hydro steering ram is mounted to the U bolts, and the pressure from the lateral movement broke the pins.  Going to have to fix that next week.  

Drilled out the broken pin from the axle and installed a homemade spring pack bolt by using a 3/8 bolt with the corners ground off to make it round.  Fits like a glove  Took it for a test drive hitting every manhole, pot hole, and even a curb here and there, and didn't have one shutter.  Plus, now with the axle clocked back a little bit it returns to center a lot better.

So if you have leaf springs and bump steer, check your leaf pack center pins.
