I would say that its junk cuz I googled it and it came up with RC Rock Crawlers? I dont know why it sent me there but then I spent about 45 minutes looking at freaking RC Rock Crawlers :) I need to get me one of those. As far as your axle, I think it just means its junk.

ok.. I am not sure..but after some reading on pirate and if I was ever to go with dana 60s…there were fords with a snow fighter(i am guessing snow plow)package with some BA dana 60s it was 76 b-78 era…may be what there talking about. Not to many snow fighter packages left in the rust belt we live in but when they pop up on greatlakes4x4.com they go fast. Thats all I know…If thats anything

So you were going to buy the Ford and take the rear end out of it? Not for the Grand Cherokee right? I would fix that Ford up and tow the Grand Cherokee with it.

Odds are it is a dana 44 axle. I can't see the pumpkin enough to see how big it is. Ask the guy if there is a 44 or a 60 cast into the lower right hand, or maybe left hand web of the differential on the front side and you will know what it is. The truck looks solid, throw in a motor and you have a decent tow rig.

why go to the start when you can go strate to the finish!!!!!

Did it have a Modified or a Windsor in it? I have a stock 77 302 in my garage. Ran when pulled.
The GM axle has the drop on the drivers side?

I have a 78 ford dana 60 on the front of my jeep and havent had any problems at all. If that axle is a 60 and from 76-78 you could sell front axle alone for 500 to 600 hundred.and on another topic I also have a rc rock crawler truck its a axial ax 10 and you would never believe what that thing can crawl its very fun toy to have.

This is what I was thinking.
The number 1 difference I see with building a fullsize truck would be, where would you wheel it? wheelbase limits at the cliffs
