I have a pair of used Mopar side steps from my 2000 TJ.

Doug,
Do those bolt to the frame? Are they still Available?
I might be interested in removing the Mopar Chrome Tube Steps and replacing with those. The "Bank" reqires a step or will deny all future authorizations on Jeep upgrades. So I will sacrifice some clearance with the steps, but can make it up with a lift.

I still have them but not sure about the hardware. I will look to see if I have the bolts but you may need some nutserts that go in the side of the frame. Possible that youras already has the holes in the frame but you would have to look.
Just let me know if you want them I can bring them Saturday.

Let me look at my jeep – I'll get back to you – I will not be at the cliffs this weekend. But I can meet you up in West Chicago if I have mounting points for it

OK – I looked at my frame. It looks like I have holes drilled already for the step placement, but I think it needs nutserts to make it work – I don't know what size bolts would support the step, but getting finding nutserts of the correct size and trying to install them might be a trick. If that is not as much of a problem as I feel like it is, let me know.

I can't find the bolts, but you may be able to order the h/w kit from the dealer. Or just find nutserts from McMaster Carr.
