OK here is the story.  I purchased this winch off of Craig’s list because it’s a great winch that was at a great price.  My mistake was to get the winch before I had the bumper.   I have a limited choice of bumpers because I have to find one that will work with my tow bar for when I drag the jeep behind my Motor home.   Well the bumper I purchased this week will work for my tow bar but will NOT work with this winch.  This winch is a front mount base and it deeper than the standard winch due to its extra capacity spool.   Anyway my mistake and now I need to find a different winch.   I'm asking $500 from any DDO member or possibly a trade for a winch that would work in my bumper.

Completely disassembled:  inspected / packed bearings, replaced all seals, new solenoids, inspected motor, inspected brake assembly, bead blasted cases and drum, all new paint, replaced end cap and drum guide, new SAE30 oil, and new 2 gauge cables from solenoids to motor.

Includes: 50 foot of 3/8 synthetic rope and aluminum fairlead (can handle as much as 150ft).  Does NOT include wired control (never had one, I was going to install a wireless unit for $130).
 

This winch is the fasted one on the market with a 74 ft per minute no-load speed and rated for 8,000Lbs.  This monster is still sold today for as much as $2100.  I purchased it off of Craig’s list for $450 then added about $100 in new parts.  Asking $500 for any DDO member $600 for anyone else.  Interested call my cell (262) 818-5282.Â
