I may be looking into selling my '99 Wrangler. Lately I've been looking at WJ's so I'm just throwing this out there in case anyone shows interest…

I have a 1999 Wrangler, 4.0L engine, has approximately 190,000 miles on it. It serves as my daily driver to and from work, 7 miles everyday. I have owned it for almost 4 years, and have maintained it myself, along with the help of my gf, an ASE certified tech, so none of the work is half-assed.

I have added the following major components while I've owned it, I also included the estimated value of all the upgrades, which aren't even being accounted for, obviously.

-Rough Country 2.5" suspension lift ~$350
-Rock Crawler black steel wheels ~$250
-BF Goodrich 32" KM2's ~$1000
-Warn front and rear bumpers w/ swingout ~$1100
-Hella "Black Magic" lights on windshield ~$140
-Polk Audio speakers in dash and soundbar ~$220
-Sony head unit ~$80
-BDS steering stabilizer ~$40

I've also herculined the inside floor and tub, as well as replaced the stock tailgate hinges with Kentrol black hinges. I installed a Flowmaster Super 40 muffler and replaced the tailpipe with an OEM one, so the exhaust sounds great. Ive also installed a set of rocker guards off a TJ Rubicon.

I installed the lift kit late last summer, and left in .75" Rubicon Express coil spacers in the rear since I was/am planning on getting a gas tank skid. The front bumper has 2 d-rings, and the rear has a tow hook w/ pin. The Sony stereo has an auxillary input so you can plug in your ipod, and the speakers sound so crisp, especially in the summer with the top off. I acquired the soft top, an OEM khaki denim last spring, off a 2004 Sahara, locally off a fellow Jeeper.

I replaced the water pump last summer, with an OEM, and also replaced the idle air control valve and throttle position sensor a few months ago, all parts directly from Chrysler/Mopar. I also installed a new Interstate Mega-tron battery, size 34, last December.

I have a Cobra cb installed, but not wired, just under the passenger side dash, as well as a CB antena, which is not hooked up either. Front speakers are Polk DB 4x6, and 6.5" on the soundbar.

The front and rear seats are a "leather" type material, I think vinyl, and they are heated (fronts only), with the controls located just in front of the shifter. The driver seat heats faster than the passenger

I change the oil approximately every 3-4k miles with Mobil1 10W30 full synthetic, and the air filter every other oil change. I've also balanced and rotated the KM2's every 2k miles at work since I've had them. They still have great wear and lots of tread, at about 15/32nds. And they come with 19/32nds new. Full size spare has never been driven on.

The only real blemishes are a rust spot starting to get worse on the driver side fender, which as you guys/girls know is common with Wranglers, and some rust spots forming on the rear panel, about 2 inches under the tailgate hinges, also common.

KBB rates my TJ at $5860 in good condition, so I guess price wise, I would take $5500, or a fairly reasonable offer, and thats with everything included above. I also have a JKS adjustable rear tracbar, which is brand new and has not even been installed, which I can included for an extra $150 on the "final price"…per say.

Again, I'm looking for a WJ (99-04 Grand Cherokee), preferably a V8 but any will do. If you have one or know of anyone who is selling one let me know :D

Room and comfort lol. The TJ is not so roomy and comfy when making long distance trips (Silver Lake last year) so I started looking at WJ, since they offer that V8 and also have solid axles, gotta have solid axles. And since my gf already has a 2010 JK, I figure letting go of mine isnt too bad.
