Twisted Trails Added
Well as I was sitting in my room up here at school in Wisconsin bored out of my mind (nothing to do and no jeep to work on) i started to really think about the idea of an 'all inclusive' Michigan run this summer. The destinations could be but are not limited to, Bundy Hill, The Mounds, Rocks and Valleys, and Silver Lake. I was thinking that it could be a long weekend run or maybe a week long run, (depending on the availability of peoples time) since its almost a 880 mile round trip just from my house (longer for those of our club memebers that live further to the north and west). Any way this is what Google provided me with.

KEY
A/F = Starting/End Point
B = Bundy Hill (9960 E. Chicago Rd. Jerome, MI. 49249)
C = The Mounds (6145 E. Mt. Morris Rd. Mt. Morris, MI. 48458)
D = Rocks and Valleys (3407 E. Mannsiding Rd. Harrison MI. 48625)
E = Twisted Trails (19282 Read Rd. Compemish, MI)
F = Silver Lake Camp Ground (9679 W. State Park Rd. Mears, MI. 49436)

leave tuesday afternoon and camp at bumdy
wensday wheel at bundy till close then travel to the mounds
thursday wheel the mounds then travel to rocks and vallys
friday wheel at rocks and vallys, then travel and camp at dunes
saturday wheel the dunes and camp there.
sunday, short wheeling at dunes, then head back home
Just my 2 cents

Its a hundred less miles then your set up and I have free camping site near Silver Lake and Copemish, MI.
Really need to get back on this, as far as setting dates. I know Doug and Jerry are game. Also, the trip could be shortened up if the member to the north and west of the big lake would be up to taking the ferry.

Tony – I probably wouldn't take the ferry cause I'd have to get a second mortgage to pay the fare for the motorhome. I'd love to do a trip like that but I wouldn't start on a Tuesday if I'm burning 4 days of vacation I might as well do 5 and add the first weekend too. That would be 9 days of wheeling – YAHOO!

This all sounds pretty cool but to do 5 parks plus drummond is gonna need at least 7+ days. Personally I would rather make drummond a separate trip and maybe include Silver lake on the way home for an overnight.
I believe Drummond has enough stuff for a few days, it also has an ORV park on the island. I wouldn't want to rush through it but take my time and enjoy it. There is a lot of scenery up there to go along with the offroading.
I do like the ideas Justin, myself Tony and Jerry have thrown this around before.

Doug has some good points. Trying to do all these parks in a week is going to be a chore, and probably more of a pain for most people then an enjoyable 4 wheeling trip. There would be a ton of highway driving, and then what if someone breaks down? There needs to be some down time incase unforeseen circumstance occur. Plus, like Doug said, you don't really want to rush and not get the full experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for you guys coming up to Michigan to check out some of the parks. Its just that I think it would be better if you would split this in to maybe two or three trips instead of trying to do it all at once. This way no matter what happens, you would be relatively close to the next destination.
Southern Trip: Bundy and the Mounds.
Northern Trip: Silver Lake, Rocks and Valleys, and Twisted Trails.
Drummond Trip.
If this makes sense feel free to adopt it. Otherwise, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you can it.
Looking forward to seeing the turn out.

Tony/doug have some really good points, i think that breaking the one big trip into multiple mini trips would be best for my circumstances, im just hoping i can afford to do them all.
