I may take a trip to southeast Kentucky the week of March 28-31 2011 on my son's spring break.  There is an offroad area there called Black Mountain Offroad Adventure Area.  Anybody interested in coming along?

Here is a trail map of the place.

I'd like to do that park. Maybe it can be added for this year's trips.

Has anybody from here been there before?  It looks like a pretty cool park.  Easy and tough areas next to each other.  And has decent secenery unlike most of the places we've been!

I have been there twice.  Once in 2008 and then last year for the fall crawl event in sept.  The pics and trail report are in this link: http://ddoffroad.com/forum/pho…..harlan-ky/  Feel free to poke around my photobucket.  All the harlan pics are in the folders labled fall crawl, and takeover.  Really cool place, probibly the best wheeling thats close to here, definatley will be back!!  Plus they are open 24hrs, so night runs!!!  The cool part is, alot of the hard obsticles are accessable by easy trails. Even if you dont have a capable rig, you can still watch people rhomp on their junk!  Cool places to hang out:  Little jager, upper rock garden, upper damnation (i ran this and had to winch, needed a front locker and some 35s), mason jar, and lions den (the pics with the zj getting torn up).  I would be down, but cant get work off and i need to save up money because im doing some drivetrain overhauls and upgrades on the taco right around that time.
