Oh and a few more thinks, would like to thank Matt Helm and Bill for all their help with getting everyone either winched out or tugged out, without them, Group 1 would probably still be at Cliff's :)
Also if you have any pictures or videos from the trip please send them to Tim so he can add the videos for the 2010 DVD and the pictures to our first trip outing, thanks again for joining us on our first trip this year to Cliff's :)

Had a great time as well! Almost got stuck once. I know next time I go to the Cliffs I'm going to have more under body protection. Some of the rocks in trail 10 scared me.
Thanks to rubi for pulling bittergenious from a harry situation. Hope you threw away your stained undies bro!!!
Cant wait for the pics and vids as well

Cool video Jeff.
Ive seen your Rubi in person a couple times and never noticed until the video – Are those Xenon flares?… 6"?… If so, how do you like them?
Btw Jeff, were you 'locked' trying to get up that hill?

Never made it that far into #1. Plan was to take 1 and short cut through 10 to meet up at 1 again. Trail 10 was becoming more knarly as we got deeper so we had to climb a steep hill while squeezing between trees. Good times!

Had blast out there. Got there early so Matt, Juli with 12hr old Rubi and I went out for a little pre-event wheeling. Had to winch myself up 13, got out to hook up the winch and notice the rig slowly sliding inch by inch down the hill. So Matt had to help me hook it up.
10 was much worse than when I was on it in January, We decided to climb out when the trail ahead look like I'd have to winch myself even with a lifted, armored, locked Rubi.
Juli had a lot fun on her first trip driving off-road, she's now hooked. She also got her first pin stripes on the 2010 Rubi with 145 miles on it. her comment on the pin stripes " I bought it to wheel, not mall crawl". I had to use a heat gun on the front bumper to pop the plastic back into place. Steel bumpers I think will be the first mod.

Group A did pretty well. Except when Tim almost put his Cherokee on its side lol. That was a close call! Then he had to get winched back up by Drew, so we had to take a different route, but it was all good. Oh, and the new guy with the XTerra put a nice dent in his driver-side door, and broke his mirror. Other than that, it was fun!

Yes those are 6 inch Xenon flairs. I just put them one a couple of weeks ago and love them! It was a PITA to pull the OEM flairs because the hardware was stubborn. I've had many people comment about them plus I gained another inch or two of clearance – all pro's so far! Plus I got a 10% DDO group discount.
Yes I was locked front and rear. Matt Helm was the only one that made it to the top but only 3 of us tried it. Well technically I made it while being drug by Matt's winch…

Jeff - I read on Rubicon Owners Forum you're suppose to let the 6" flares (only) sit in the sun for awhile because they tend to warp during shipment. Did you have that issue? And who did you buy from to receive a DDO discount?
EDIT: Scratch that Jeff. I just happened to read in the club discount forum where you bought the flares. They look great on your Rubi! FWIW, I was thinking about GenRight (real) flat fenders (and rear flares) but after seeing the 6" Xenons (in photos anyway), I want them.
