Mike – I hope to be at Summers by noon, I wasn't planning on wheelin' Friday but Bentley wants to wheel as well.

Let me see if I can do it, I am smoking a couple of slabs of ribs Friday at camp so I may be able to go for a few hours.   BTW there should be enough ribs for samples so its first come first serve Friday night Surprised

Intense55rider – We are going to be at Summers camp in the back area they reserve for groups.  I think if you mention DDO at the front they will tell you were we are.   I will have a large grey Dodge Ram and Large grey enclosed trailer, hope to see you there.

Slander – I doubt I can make the lot by 9am local, packing up camp etc will make it difficult to get there by that time.  Let's shoot for 9:30-9:45

Cell 630-865-9699  in case your plans change etc.

Alright everyone. Just wanted to drop a line about the upcoming Badlands run. John is unable to come and so am I. The trail ZJ is, well needs some work to make road friendly and legal (last Cliff's trip explains the whole legal part.). So since there will be no managers there I am going to pass the duties along to Doug. Doug will be your trail leader for the weekend. And if Jeff doesnt mind, he will be the tail gunner for the weekend. Doug and Jeff have both been to the Badlands several times and are awesome wheelers and will be able to help everyone out. Also, there may be some members from Twisted Offroaders at the Badlands this weekend. They are also a great club with awesome members. It sucks that I can not make this run because I love the Badlands but I truly dont think the trail ZJ would be able to make it down the highway without something going wrong (in need of trailer and cummins pick up). Anyways, I hope you all have a great time. Represent DDO like you all do and enjoy yourselves. John and I will BOTH be at the October Run for our annual Halloween Run. Again have a great weekend everyone and take a ton of pictures and videos.

Hey doug (and a few others)

It looks like you Bentley, Mike and maybe a few others are heading down Friday. I am off and would like to catch up with some/all of you along the way. Not sure where everyone is coming from or the route you plan to take. It would be awesome if we could get the convoy of 4-5 organized. Any of you can cell me 815-549-6300 to try and get it together. I would be down for arriving there really any time, but around lunch-mid day would be best.

I hope to hear from you tonight or tomorrow.

Had a great time wheeling with Jeff, Drew and the Kenosha guys on sunday.  Went out after all of you left and messed around on the green trail and stumbled upon a neat little rock garden tucked away in the middle of the dunes.  It goes up hill and is similar to the rock garden on orange just less traveld.  I didnt run it since the taco held together all day and the odds were in my favor that it would have broken on there by myself lol!!  It looks doable though!  Next time I am at the badlands with the club we can all run it.  Good time, weather was ok, made some stuff that is normally fairly tame, difficult.  Cant wait to see those vids Jeff!!!

I got some great shots of the taco when I followed you through the twists. I'll try to get the editing done in the next few days – I have almost 14G of video to go through…
