Fill your truck full of mud instead of groceries for a change! Join DDO for our first newbie run where we will teach you all the abc’s of off-roading and how capable your 4x4 actually is. No off-road experience is required and all lessons are led by our experienced club members.

Where: The Cliffs ORP, 2400 E Bluff St, Marseilles, IL
When: Nov. 20, 10am sharp!
Cost: $19 for drivers, $6 for passengers

Lessons for the day include:
• Off-roading Basics
• Using 4-wheel-drive
• Offroad Safety
• Proper Recovery
• Obstacle Approach
• Trail Run Experience and MORE!

Requirements: All participants should become familiar with the park rules at http://www.cliffsinsaneterrain.com. Park waiver must be signed before entering.

If you plan to participate in trail run activities with your vehicle, you must meet club trail requirements tailored for the newbie run:
• Recovery points
• 20,000lb tow strap with no metal hooks (available at your local hardware store)
• CB or 2-way radio
• Working four-wheel drive
• Full-size spare tire
• Flag mounted to vehicle (available for purchase at park)

Ride-along’s are welcome if you are not comfortable using your own vehicle or do not meet all trail requirements. Space is limited and cost depends on type of participation (ex. driver, passenger, bystander).

For any questions email info@ddoffroad.com

Jeeprider26 dont worry about the whole "space" thing. There is plenty of space. Just come on down and join us, you should have a blast with everyone. I wont be there Cry OH well, see everyone at the Toys for Tots parade.

If anyone would like to meet John and at the Wendy's in Bowlingbrook at the I-55/IL-53 interchange we'll be there around 745 to grab some gas and food before continuing to the Cliffs. We'll be leaving there at 8:15 sharp.

See you then

Space was referring to if you wanted to ride along with someone else.  Plenty of room for more vehicles.
