We are talking about Drummond Island, right?
Yeah those dates (May 18th – 22nd) work for me too. I also realized this would be almost 2 weeks before the Memorial Day weekend. Fwiw, June is out for me. I am shooting my next film in Chicago tentatively in mid June.

Yeah I was somewhat confused since the topic of black flies and such are pesky from late May – July.
I'm game for either trip (UP.. or R&V, Twisted, and Dunes).

I'd love to go. If I did, it would be for Drummond Island/UP trip. Unfortunately, I already have previous plans the suggested May week/weekend…. and the 2 weeks following. (participating in a week long expedition-style trip in Moab – there are still a couple spaces open if anyone else is interested, BTW). In the meantime, I'll stay tuned to your discussion and join you if I can.

The black fly discussion did confuse the issue, sorry about that. I am up for either, it would be cool if others wants to join or the whole club would like to do this.
Either way count me in, I marked these dates on my google calendar so I won't schedule anything else.
Let me think about it for a few days for my preference, tonight I'm heading to NY to see some friends so I will get back with you guys.
Are you guys going to the Christmas Party? Just thinking maybe we could discuss it with a wider audience.

Sounds good Doug. I will be able to request vacation days for next year after Jan 2nd. I will do so right away when I know the confirmed dates.
Unfortunately I am not able to make the Christmas Party if it's on the 18th.

After much contemplation on where to go, my vote is for Drummond Island. It's a haul but it sounds like it's well worth the trip, two days of travel and three days of wheelin' sounds pretty good to me.
There are about 50 miles of trails from what I can gather and there is also Turtle Ridge ORV park on the island.

The island sounds like a good time but, I'll put my vote in for the Lower Three. (R&V, Twisted, and SL) I think there would be a better chance of more club members joining if we minimized the driving. Not to say that I wouldn't be down for an island run.
Someone should bring this up durning the Christmas party to see who would be interested in joining either a Drummond, or Lower Three trip. I'm not going to be able to make the Christmas party but I might be at the January run.

I'm guessing not much interest? When you post the info, I guess dates would be next. As for which trip, (regardless of who is interested or not), either trip works for me.
