i plan on going, i went and participated in the mud bogs in 2006 and had a blast.
its two days of hill billies driving there trucks around in mud pits jumping them and pulling stuff with them

iv gone when i couldnt drive and enjoyed watching, so even if you dont feel like running your rig in any events its still fun to be there.
