Well we just ended another run at Cliff's, hope everyone had fun. John great job with the lessons, hoped everyone learned something new. The next trip we are going to be having is the Badass Badlands Weekend trip. I know there are many people that are excited for this trip as am I. I would like to have everyone start coordinating meet up locations and times. Are people planning on leaving Friday afternoon/early evening or leaving Saturday morning, please start posting meet up locations and times here, so people can make sure they can come and get off of work if necessary. Thanks

According to the Badlands event calendar, the unofficial offical convoy leaves early Sat morning.  I will probably be apart of that.

Let's see, what did I learn @ Cliffs…..

1.  Living in the city isn't all it's cracked up to be.  Laugh

2.  Jessica's B-day is Monday (and she's getting a tat!)  Cool

3.  The people who told me I wlll be amazed at what a stock Rubicon can do were freakin' right on!  Smile

4.  Interco is giving us a sweet deal.  Surprised

5.  Mitch can't lure girls into his XJ even with fancy new seat covers.  Wink

I think that's about it.  Or am I missing something?…..

Oh yeah,  next time let the people with the winch recover the stuck 4x4 on the insane slippery slope.  Frown

Sans battle scar, the Cliff's is a good time.

I may join you for this one.  I have to wait and see how time/money plays out… mostly time.

We were out there on the Saturday before Easter – man, how I missed that place… it had been over a year since the time I was there before.

Donna and I will be there.  I have some vacation to burn so we are heading down on Thursday morning May 13th.  I've already made reservations at Attica Family Campground.  Since we don't tent I asked for a site closest to the tenting area, they put us on Site 28.  Unfortunately we will have to leave early Sunday morning to be in home in time for my Niece's College Graduation party.  If anyone is going down anytime Thursday morning I'd be more than happy to meet up.

This is our first trip to the Badlands and I can't wait to experance them!

Jeff – if we go, we'll likely head down after work on Friday instead of trying to rush to get there on Saturday.  We can come and find you on Friday evening and do the campfire thing, if you want.

ha ha ha, next time Ill try Leather! or find one that doesnt have a boyfriend (the covers are just for wheeling, dirt is a PIA to get out of cloth seats)

but here is the important stuff I learned

1. pack extra relays

2. bfg atkos belong on the street

3. ya need good communication between the front and the rear

4. just because you can go up something, doesn't mean you should go all the way

Mitch(1 of 3 stooges)

00' XJ, 5.5" Long arm, 32×11.5×15, 4.0l

If something electrical doesnt work right, throw a relay or 2 on it!

Count me in! Love the Badlands too bad its far.

-Bring either a spare alternator or a bunch of brake clean to clean it. The mud in Kevin's Trail was claiming a lot of alternators.

The plan is to wheel both saturday and sunday. Most likely leaving around 3 or 4 pm on Sunday.

Coming down from Michigan, and planning on showing up early Saturday morning and wheeling through Sunday.  Should be a good time.  If the mood strikes, might ride down friday night to enjoy some beers and the fire.  Did someone say blender??

Would I be correct to assume the campground everyone stays at is "Attica Family Campground" on Perry street?

Dont know the street name but yes that would be the one at the entrance. Thats the one Jeff Knutter is staying at. Its an open camping area not like the ones at the state park. Great place to camp.
