Planning a cliff's run on July 24th. I will not be able to attend the Dunes since I have my oldest daughter the weekend of the dunes and I want to wheel this month. So, I will be at the Cliff's on July 23rd, probably be in the parking lot around 9:30-10am. Chris Wilson will also be joining me that day so whoever cant go to the dunes and wants to go is more then welcomed to, or people who are going to the dunes but want to tackle a little Cliff's mud, come with as well.
Let me know who would like to go with.

And for the record for any further readers / posters, this unofficial run is scheduled for Saturday JULY 23rd and NOT Sunday July 24th as the title post states. Maybe Mr. Evans can edit the title so there is no confusion and then delete my post. We let the discussion on this go a little to far on FacePlant yesterday.

Just an FYI guys. That weekend is the Toyota Jamboree at the Cliffs, so it might be a little busier then normal.
Not to discourage you all, but a call ahead to find out how many Rigs they are expecting might not be a bad idea.
If they have 30rigs, that won't be so bad…but if they have 100 rigs showing up, it will be crowded.

Uh oh… Better make sure we all have our recovery straps and winches ready. They are gonna need someone to pull them out…..

Cant go….. My left wheel bearing went bad. I also toasted one or all of the bearings in my front diff……. When I drained the fluid 2 days ago nothing but dark grey gear lube poured out. Played in the deep water too much at the Badlands. This MAY be it for the year. My attention is going towards replacing the Yota (daily driver) motor.

Yes sir thats on the list. By next season I'll be on 4.56, front locked, trussed and chromolied…. Not messing around for next season. Flirting with 35s too.

Not sure if I'm going. Changed out front Pinion seal last week and discovered a lot of play in the bearings. Have to order some parts and I don't think I'll have them in time – plus its just to damn hot to work on or even wheel it.

I'm with ya on that… SUPPOSED to be working on the YJ but I have this quirky policy about wrenching in blast furnaces (aka my garage). HOWEVER we are still set for going wheeling, I just won't have the winch or front bumper done on the YJ. Oh well, right???
