Call me over excited… There's a run to the badlands in 2 1/2 weeks. What's the word on who is going and when? I can potentially arrive Thursday evening and leave Sunday morning. I'd be planning on camping at the badlands campgrounds. What does everyone else have planned? I don't know that I can make the meet 'n greet on the 11th, so I'm throwin this out there.
Let me know what you have planned.

Yes I'm going too – I think we are staying at the Badlands Campground like last time. I'll be heading out Friday no later than noon and will be coming home on Sunday.
I'll be at this months meet & greet too.

I believe many of us who plan to attend this event will be staying at another campground this time. We've heard this other campground is only a few miles down the road (from the park) and a lot nicer than the campground out in front of the park.
I am not able to make this months meeting, so I guess we'll all learn more about who is going and where the club decides to camp (either) at the meeting or here on the forum soon after.

I vote for a campground with no, or few campground Nazi's, I like to have a "too or tree" adult beverages after a hard days wheeling. Oh… and I'll be there saturday morning and leaving sunday. I would be there sooner but I have another darn wedding to go to on Friday.

Jess and myself wont be attending this Badlands run. We just cant swing it this month with trying to save up for a house and all that good stuff. We will be at the Cliff's trip in October. Hope you all have fun and make sure you stay at the other camp ground and not the one by the Badlands. Have fun everyone.

Glad someone said something… Would have been pretty lonely otherwise.

Wow I thought the Badlands Campground was pretty easy going with the after party. If my memory serves me correct it was the campers themselves that were complaining at 3AM…

I had a friend who used to bring his ATV's down about 10-15 times a summer and he used that campground. The nice part about it, you wont have people at 7am redlining their ATV's and trucks like those waiting to get into the Badlands from the campgrounds. I'm cool with that. I can really be there anytime. I'm off thurs-sun. I can head south anytime after noon thursday.

I am a maybe.
Oh and FWIW, if the club decides to camp at the park out front, I suggest you grab tent spaces along the far outer wall and for you RVer's, spaces near by.

That summer crampground looks kinda far away, there is another east of town but it looks like a POS. Was there another one that someone knows thats actually close to the park?
