FYI – Anyone considering those directions should know that I-80 / I-94 up around the I-65 interchange in Indiana is a construction zone nitemare!  Avoid that area at all costs.  One alternate route would be I-80/94 to Indianapolis Blvd (Rt41South).  A few more stop lights this way but you won't be sitting in backed-up construction traffic.

I usually take the route Jerry is suggesting down 41 and it is faster then I-65 IMHO if you take it in the early morning hours 6-8 or earlier.

il 394 is faster than rte 41.  Take 394 south and cut across the border on one of the cross streets to 41, you avoid that whole shopping area on 41.

2002 Toyota Tacoma extended cab TRD, V6, 5spd. OME 882s, winch, sliders, skids, 255/85/16 BFG KMS, Marlin/inchworm Dual transfer cases with 4.7:1 gears. 12:1 Rules!! Still in all of its IFS glory!!

We do this route every weekend. dont take 30 east from 394, or you'll end up doing 30 through tons lights and little towns, go past it. We cut over at the light one intersection past the Kohl's in Crete.

If going interstate 65 into Lafayette take highway 26 west to 55 south. Do not take 25, it will lead you into Attica and then you'll have to go back north to the camp ground.

So you turn east onto Exchange st, then south on State Line rd, the east on 151'st to 41?
