I'll try again.
The area by the fishing pond is nice with lots of huge trees. The ground is level by the road but gets sloped as you go towards the pond. access to this area and parking is from the main road not via the campground drive. Other than sites 37 through 40 the other electric sites around are ocuipied perminents, we are in site 30.
The white area in the back beyond area D and site 11 is a huge primative only area.
With all the rain recently I expect bugs to be bad so bring spray and tourches etc..
Ice at the camp store is cheaper than in town prices.
Fire pits are provided, no IL wood allowed in IN. No spare wood around. There are no locals selling wood so bring it with or buy from the camp store.
Toilets are in the back of camp office and shower house D. Showers at camp office are seperated by curtains showers in Shower house D have walls.
They also have a pool so bring a suit if so inclined.
There is a pizza place in Pine Village that has great food called Arnie's. Pizza is very good with ground pepperoni. The Gut buster or Hot italian sandwiches are also great. If you want to pick something up on the way in for Friday night. from 41 take 26 east into Pine Village and then 55 south to get to the campsite. They are located in same building as the gas station, they only take cash, gas station has ATM. Not too far out of the way, its about 7 miles north and adds at most 5 minutes to the trip.
Jeff the sites right along the road do have electric, I'm not sure
about water though, check them-out before you register as the true pull
throughs are in the back around the area D shower house. Groups with 3
to 4 campers and tents regularly use area E.
Tony I'll have the truck and trailer with me if you want to check-out the Ecoboost.
If anybody goes through Rainsville on the way in don't miss the town hot spot, an outdoor Pepsi machine at the only stop sign.
See you there
