I'm shooting for a 10am(ish) arrival on Friday.  I'm gonna be doing the same, setting up camp and hanging out till the others show. I was gonna do the Friday a.m. convoy but it looks like they are leaving at 9 or 10am to head down.  I'll already be at summers waiting and ready.  Woooooop!!

Hopefully the convoy from Wisconsin will be on the road by 11:00AM.  The wife, my niece, and I in the Behemoth, followed by Shaun and Tanya in his Black TJ, Adam in his blue YJ, and Adam's dad Mike in his Black JK.  We will be channel 22 if anyone catches us on the road on the way down.   Once I get my pig moving I don't like to slow down so don't get in the way….  :)

Already have 3 sites reserved at the campground.  I'm on a pull-through with water / electric, asked to be as close as possible to the tent sites but I have no idea if they can do that.

See you all Friday.

@ Jeff -  Pig?  or HOG?  Wink lmao…….

So where exacty are the "tent sites"?  I was looking at the campground map but it doesn't indicate which are tent camping?

Also;  Do I need to reserve a tent space?  And if so, where?  It woud be nice if we were all in the same area.

Can anyone share info and or where (campground section) they have reserved their space?

Just talked to Summers Campground -

They're blocking off a large lot for all "primative" (aka; tent campers).  No reservation is needed but they will appreciate a phone call so you can add your name to their list.  That way they have a good idea how many are going to be there.  We will also be with members of Twisted Offroaders.  All Jeepers (tent camping) will be together.  He also said the area has trees (nice shade) for protection.

If you're camping in a camper/ RV – you need to reserve a space.  First come, first served.

If you look at the campground map…

http://www.summerscampground.c…..tions.html

We will be in the area near the bottom right of map.  Along the road opposite the pond.  He said it is considered "E – Area"  which isn't listed on the map.

Jerry if it was my HOG then no one would be able to keep up.  Got to love that 6th gear!

I'm thinking about taking I-65 instead 41 this time through Indiana.  My 454 gets mighty thirsty when you hit a bunch of stop lights…
