Hey Jeff – sent u a PM about not being there – hit a deer last night on the ride home. I'm fine but there is some minor damage to the jeep that needs to be checked by the adjuster – front passenger fender, busted fog light, then damage to drivers door and dented tub in front of rear drivers side tire. Depending upon our cash-flow – we might be out for mud weekend too

I wish – neither of the two were killed – apparently just maimed. They limped back into the forest. Just found out there is a $500 deductible. I guess I might have to wait a little longer for tires :(
I don't know the extent of the damage yet, I guess I'll find out tomorrow or so.

Pretty upset about the jeep – almost more upset about the lack of deer jerky
I also noticed the the front grill and chrome overlay are dented pretty good too. Maybe some of the light scratches from offroading get fixed too :D

Just tell the insurance adjuster every thing on the jeep the deers did… They'll believe you, most those insurance guys don't think people wheel there Jeeps and 4x4s

Agreed – I'm going to see what I can get away with. My jeep was in near mint condition and there were only a few light scratches that some buffing would have removed. So I'm pretty sure that any damage to the jeep was done by the two deer. Well the "Bank" just informed me that she got a small bonus from work last week and we should get it this week. I guess there goes the bonus to pay the deductable Maybe I don't have to put off tires any longer than what was previously planned.

Well…depending upon how soon everything gets fixed – I'll be back out.
Spent Sunday cleaning out the 75 pounds of Mud from the Transfer Case. It was so dry and hard it was easier to just reach in and start breaking pieces off and pulling them out by hand. I didn't want to take it in to the shop with tons of mud under the jeep, that might make them not want to pay for all of the damages, even though my jeep is still covered in fur.
